A Hidden Gem Uncovered

With a mere 3,000 inhabitants, Santa Teresa is a small surf town making big waves thanks to its undeniable allure of being one of the only five blue zones in the world. Nestled at the far tip of Costa Rica’s Nicoya Peninsula, a magnetic utopia of sand, surf, and sun that delivers a rare experience to visitors and residents alike.

The Nicoya Peninsula is a Mecca for anyone looking to improve their well-being and mental prosperity. Santa Teresa teleports you to a time before urbanization took over, a quaint surfing village that is packed with barefoot nomads who soak up the sun, fresh air, and the scent of fresh pastries traveling along its 4-kilometer long main street.

Peppered with lavish green hills, wild palm trees, boutique ice cream cafes, and inspiring wildlife, this secluded coastal paradise is a vibrant beach town and year-round surfing destination.

It comes as no surprise that people in this “Blue Zone'' are known to live longer, and have higher quality lives, focusing on the simple yet so out-of-reach for most pleasures of life.
