Mona is a new project by Terra Costa Rica, a development group with a mission to create memorable environments for homeowners, residents, and guests. At Terra, we believe nature is our future. With our extensive history of building 6000+ purposeful living spaces, we have a deep understanding of what it takes to achieve the perfect balance between elevated design and eco-living.

Mona, a Terra vision brought to life, is a prime example of the ideas and values rooted at the center of all our projects - design-forward, community-based, eco-conscious living.

Our Team

Roni Amid

Roni Amid is a seasoned entrepreneur and finance executive who has built a real-estate development business with subsidiaries across the United States, Europe and EMEA. In over 20 years, Roni has secured over 1.2 Billion in financing in the multifamily market, overseeing the development of over 6,500 units, with a recent ground-up development of 1,630 units in Colorado.
Terra CR has been Roni’s dream since he first visited Santa Teresa in 2006 and his first venture in Central America. The trips to Senta Teresa sparked a newfound appreciation for nature in Roni, and a deep understanding of how important it is to protect it at all costs when thinking of the future of real estate development. Applying this philosophy to real life, Roni’s team is building the Mona’s eco-living villas using sustainable design techniques, renewable energy, water recycling and more to ensure reduced carbon footprint.

Roy Leschinsky

As a former founder and hospitality executive, Roy has developed numerous hotels and entertainment venues across the globe. Currently residing in Santa Teresa, Costa Rica with his family of four, Roy is expanding Terra’s vision to build the future of eco-living spaces, marrying high-end design with the raw beauty of nature. When not working, Roy is practicing his scuba diving skills and getting familiar with the underwater landscapes of Santa Teresa.

Romi Amid

Romi holds B.A in Business Administration and finance and is an enthusiastic young entrepreneur with strategic business development experience in mortgage consulting. Romi was inspired by Santa Teresa’s radiating energy and decided to relocate there and join the team at Terra. When she’s not working on Mona, Romi loves to cook, bake and take in the sunsets from Playa Hermosa.
